AN ORDINANCE, vacating a portion of a sewer easement in
Lot 15 of Godwin-Winding Brook, a Subdivision in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has agreed
to grant to the District a suitable compensating easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The portion of the sewer easement
described is hereby vacated, to wit:
A tract of land being part of Lot 15 of Godwin-Winding Brook,
a Subdivision according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat
Book 168, Page 22 of the St. Louis County records, and
described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the eastern line of Winding Brook
Lane, 40 feet wide, at the northwest corner of said Lot 15;
thence along the eastern line of Winding Brook Lane, South 7
degrees 35 minutes west, 145.42 feet to the point of
beginning of the herein described tract of land; thence
leaving said street line and running south 82 degrees 01
minute east, 175.00 feet to a point; thence leaving said
point and running the following: southwardly at right
angles, 1.00 feet; westwardly at right angles, 175.00 feet
and northwardly at right angles, 1.00 feet to the point of
beginning, being a portion of a 10 foot wide easement
established in Godwin Tract #2, a Subdivision according to
the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 31, Page 86 of the St.
Louis County records.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 24, 1981.
