AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) from the General Fund of the
District, of which Fifty Dollars ($50.00) is to be used to pay the
District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant of Three Hundred
Seventy-five Dollars ($375.00) has been received from the
Environmental Protection Agency, and Seventy-five Dollars ($75.00)
has been reserved by the Clean Water Commission for additional
costs for Contract C-688 (Caulks Creek Sanitary Interceptor Line
C), Federal Project C291148.
WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five
percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of
the United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the
additional costs of said project, and
WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been
reserved by the Clean Water Commission of the State of Missouri to
pay fifteen percent (15%) of the additional costs of said project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) is
hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to pay
ten percent (10%) of the additional costs for Contract C-788
(Caulks Creek Sanitary Interceptor Line C).
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental Pro-
tection Agency of the United States amounts to Three Hundred
Seventy-five Dollars ($375.00), which will be deposited in the
General Fund of the District, and is to pay seventy-five percent
(75%) of the additional costs for Contract C-688 (Caulks Creek
Sanitary Interceptor Line C); said amount is hereby appropriated
to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the
terms of the contracts for said project.
Section Three. The reserved grant from the Clean Water
Commission of the State of Missouri amounts to Seventy-five
Dollars ($75.00), which will be deposited in the General Fund of
the District, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the
additional costs for Contract C-688 (Caulks Creek Sanitary
Interceptor Line C); said amount is hereby appropriated to be used
to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the
contracts for said project.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 24, 1981.
