AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with the City of Northwoods,
Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 of the United States of America, for the receipt of federal
funds to be used for the cost of materials for the construction of
a gabion wall at 4607 Edgewood, in the City of Northwoods,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 will provide the City of Northwoods, Missouri, with federal
funds for public works projects, and
WHEREAS, said Act requires contract between the
District and the City of Northwoods, Missouri for the undertaking
of such projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a
contract with the City of Northwoods, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 of the
United States of America, for the receipt of federal funds
to be used for the cost of materials for the construction of
a gabion wall at 4607 Edgewood, in the City of Northwoods,
Missouri, in the form as attached hereto. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 8, 1981.
