AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and Assistant Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an Agreement
with The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, wherein the District
agrees to contribute one-half (1/2) of the Church's construction
costs for that portion of the sewer which will be jointly utilized
to serve the Church's headquarters building to be erected at the
northwest corner of Interstate Highway 44 and Lindbergh Boulevard,
in St. Louis County, Missouri, and to serve the District in by-
passing the District's Windsor Springs Subdivision lift station,
in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the design and construction of said sewer by
the Church in accordance with District requirements and needs will
permit the District to eliminate the aforementioned Windsor
Springs Subdivision lift station, and further eliminate the
necessity of an additional lift station for the Church's
headquarters building,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Assistant
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on be-half
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an
Agreement with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, wherein the
District agrees to contribute one-half (1/2) of the Church's
construction costs for that portion of the sewer which will be
jointly utilized to serve the Church's headquarters building to be
erected at the northwest corner of Interstate Highway 44 and
Lindbergh Boulevard, in St. Louis County, Missouri, and to serve
the District in bypassing the District's Windsor Springs
Subdivision lift station, in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Agreement authorized in Section One
of this Ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions
as are approved by the Director of Legal Services of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 22, 1981.
