AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-two Thousand Dollars
($42,000.00) from the General Fund of the District as an
advancement for the construction of sanitary sewers, together with
repayment of miscellaneous other costs incurred with such
construction project, in Subdistrict No. 533 (Marbury & Laconia),
in St. Louis County, Missouri, and providing for repayment of such
advancement.
WHEREAS, certain real property owners in such
Subdistrict have contracted with Bates Utility Company to
construct a portion of the sanitary sewer system within such
Subdistrict, and
WHEREAS, upon satisfactory completion of the aforesaid
construction project, the District is to pay over to said
contractor the construction costs and any other miscellaneous
costs incurred therein, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the construction of
sanitary sewers within such Subdistrict, including the portion as
specified herein, shall be paid by special tax bills or other
evidence of special benefit assessments to be levied against all
real property in said Subdistrict, and reimbursed to the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-two Thousand
Dollars ($42,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund
of the District as an advancement for the construction of sanitary
sewers, together with repayment of miscellaneous other costs
incurred with such construction project, in Subdistrict No. 533
(Marbury & Laconia), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The officers of the District are hereby
directed to repay to the General Fund of the District the amount
as hereinabove advanced as funds become available from the
collection of special tax bills issued, or special benefit
assessments levied, against all real property in Subdistrict No.
533 (Marbury & Laconia), or from any other source.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 1981.
