AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
One Hundred Ninety-six Thousand One Hundred Ninety Dollars
($196,190.00) from the Mississippi River Construction Fund, of
which Nineteen Thousand Six Hundred Twenty Dollars ($19,620.00) is
to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant
One Hundred Forty-seven Thousand One Hundred Forty-two Dollars
($147,142.00) has been received from the Environmental Protection
Agency, and Twenty-nine Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars
($29,428.00) has been reserved by the Missouri Department of
Natural Resources for the preparation of As-Built Drawings,
Engineering Contract E-229, of Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant -
Grit and Screenings Facilities, Contract PA-60; and Aeration Tanks
and Service Building, Contract PA-62, in St. Louis County,
Missouri, Federal Project C290640-02.
WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five
percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of
the United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the
additional costs of said project, and
WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been
reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay
fifteen percent (15%) of the additional costs of said project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OP THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nineteen Thousand Six Hundred
Twenty Dollars ($19,620.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Construction Fund to pay ten percent (10%) for
the preparation of As-Built Drawings, Engineering Contract E-229
of Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant - Grit and Screenings
Facilities, Contract PA-60; and Aeration Tanks and Service
Building, Contract PA-62.
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States amounts to One Hundred
Forty-seven Thousand One Hundred Forty-two Dollars ($147,142.00)
which will be deposited in the Mississippi River Construction
Fund, and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) for the preparation
of As-Built Drawings, Engineering Contract E-229 of Lemay
Wastewater Treatment Plant - Grit and Screenings Facilities,
Contract PA-60; and Aeration Tanks and Service Building, Contract
PA-62; said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said
payments when due and payable under the terms of the contract for
said project.
Section Three. The reserved grant from the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources amounts to Twenty-nine Thousand
Four Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars ($29,428.00), which will be
deposited in the Mississippi River Construction Fund, and is to
pay fifteen percent (15%) for the preparation of As-Built
Drawings, Engineering Contract E-229 of Lemay Wastewater Treatment
Plant Grit and Screenings Facilities, Contract PA-60; and Aeration
Tanks and Service Building, Contract PA-62; said amount is hereby
appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable
under the terms of the contract for said project.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 1981.
