AN ORDINANCE, transferring Two Hundred Four Thousand
Dollars ($204,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Meramec River Basin - M.S.D.
Southwest to the Real Property Purchase Fund, and appropriating
Two Hundred Four Thousand Dollars ($204,000.00) from the Real
Property Purchase Fund for the purchase of a certain parcel of
real property in St. Louis County, Missouri for the construction
of a sewage treatment and disposal plant and system to serve the
needs of the residents of the Meramec Basin area.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 4469, adopted August 12, 1981,
authorized the acquisition of said real property by the District
through purchase or by the exercise of eminent domain,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Four Thousand
Dollars ($204,000.00) is hereby transferred from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Meramec River
Basin - M.S.D. Southwest to the Real Property Purchase Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Two Hundred Four Thousand
Dollars ($204,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Real
Property Purchase Fund for the purchase of a certain parcel of
real property in St. Louis County, Missouri for the construction
of a sewage treatment and disposal plant and system to serve the
needs of residents of the Meramec Basin area.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 1, 1981.
