AN ORDINANCE, amending Ordinance No. 4250, as adopted
December 17, 1980, and amended by Ordinance No. 4301, as adopted
March 11, 1981, by repealing Section Nine, and enacting a new
Section Nine in lieu thereof, prescribing the salary of the
Secretary-Treasurer, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Section Nine of Ordinance No. 4250, as
adopted December 17, 1980, and amended by Ordinance No. 4301, as
adopted March 11, 1981, is hereby repealed.
Section Two. Section Nine of Ordinance No. 4250 as
amended shall read as follows:
"Section Nine. Effective September 30, 1981, the salary of
the Secretary-Treasurer shall be at the rate of $37,500.00
per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments."
Section Three. The position of Secretary-Treasurer is
essential to the operation of the District, and the salary there-
for must be prescribed without delay, thus creating an emergency
within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this ordinance shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 1, 1981.
