HomeMy Public PortalAbout04529 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4529 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to quit-claim certain real property belonging to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, to certain abutting owners thereof, and to execute and deliver a Quit Claim Deed for said real property. WHEREAS, the District no longer requires said real property, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to quit-claim certain real property belonging to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, to certain abutting owners thereof, said real property being described as follows: A parcel of ground being part of Lot L, in Block 3998-D of the City of St. Louis, Missouri; said parcel being more particularly described as follows: COMMENCING at the point of intersection of the northern line of Northrup Avenue, 60 feet wide, with the eastern line of said Lot L; thence northwardly 379.91 feet along the eastern line of said Lot L to the point of BEGINNING of the parcel herein described, being also the southern line of property described in Section 2 of the City of St. Louis, Ordinance 44486; thence con- tinuing northwardly 100.00 feet along the eastern line of said Lot L; thence westwardly 50.00 feet along a line parallel with the northern line of said Northrup Avenue to the western line of said Lot L; thence southwardly 102.22 feet along the western line of said Lot L to the southern line of property described in said Ordinance; thence eastwardly 50.05 feet along said southern line of property described in said Ordinance to the eastern line of said Lot L and the point of BEGINNING, and containing 5056 square feet. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a Quit-Claim Deed, comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Assistant Executive Director and General Counsel of the District, to certain abutting owners for the above- described real property. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 7, 1981.
