HomeMy Public PortalAbout04542 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4542 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00) from the General Fund of the District, of which Eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($8,500.00) is to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant Sixty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($63,750.00) has been received from the Environmental Protection Agency, and Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($12,750.00) has been reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for engineering services related to Step 3, Stage 1 Sanitary Interceptors Construction in the Caulks Creek Watershed, Engineering Contract E-299, Federal Project C291148-03. WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the addi- tional costs of said services, and WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the additional costs of said services, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OP TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($8,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to pay ten percent (10%) of engineering services related to Step 3, Stage 1 Sanitary Interceptors Construction in the Caulks Creek Watershed, Engineering Contract E-299. Section Two. The grant from the Environmental Protec- tion Agency of the United States amounts to Sixty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($63,750.00), which will be deposited in the General Fund of the District, and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of engineering services related to Step 3, Stage 1 Sanitary Interceptors Construction in the Caulks Creek Watershed, Engineering Contract E-299; said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contract for said services. Section Three. The reserved grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources amounts to Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($12,750.00), which will be deposited in the General Fund of the District, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of engineering services related to Step 3, Stage 1 Sanitary Interceptors Construction in the Caulks Creek Watershed, Engineering Contract E-299; said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contract for said services. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 28, 1981.
