AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with the City of Florissant,
Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 of the United States of America, for the receipt of federal
funds to be used for storm sewer construction in Manor Creek S-
1756, Lawnview Creek S-1759, LaVenta-LaSierra (Charbonier) S-1645,
Flower Creek S-1757, DeSmet Florland S-1778, Boone Creek
(Brightwell Court) S-1741, and LaVenta-LaSierra (Cedar Park) S-
1758, in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 will provide the City of Florissant, Missouri with federal
funds for public works projects, and
WHEREAS, said Act requires contracts between the
District and the City of Florissant, Missouri for the undertaking
of sewer projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the
City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974 of the United States of America,
for the receipt of federal funds to be used for storm sewer
construction in Manor Creek S-1756, Lawnview Creek S-1759,
LaVenta-LaSierra (Charbonier) S-1645, Flower Creek S-1757, DeSmet
Florland S-1778, Boone Creek (Brightwell Court) S-1741, and
LaVenta-LaSierra (Cedar Park) S-1758, in the City of Florissant,
Missouri, in the form as attached hereto.
Section Two. The construction contract between the
District and the contractor for the storm sewer construction will
be awarded in accordance with standard District policies.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 4, 1981.
