AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ninety-eight
Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($198,300.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Black Creek to be
used for the construction of storm sewers, together with repayment
of the cost of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and
miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection with such
construction project, in Folk Avenue (S-1452, C-847), in the City
of Maplewood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) toward the total costs of said
project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Black Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Maplewood, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Sixty-six Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($66,100.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Black
Creek;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ninety-eight
Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($198,300.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Black Creek to be used for the construction of
storm sewers, together with repayment of the cost of Engineering,
Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in
connection with such construction project, in Folk Avenue (S-1452,
C-847), in the City of Maplewood, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 2, 1981.
