AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with the Village of Bel-Ridge,
Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 of the United States of America, for the receipt of federal
funds to be used for construction of storm sewers in Ramona-
Sargent Phase 2 (S-1731, C-861), in the Village of Bel-Ridge,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 will provide the Village of Bel-Ridge, Missouri, with federal
funds for public works projects, and
WHEREAS, said Act requires contracts between the
District and the Village of Bel-Ridge, Missouri, for the under-
taking of sewer projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the
Village of Bel-Ridge, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974 of the United States of America,
for the receipt of federal funds to be used for construction of
storm sewers in Ramona-Sargent Phase 2 (S-1731, C-861), in the
Village of Bel-Ridge, Missouri, in the form as attached hereto.
Section Two. The construction contract between the
District and the contractor for the construction of storm sewers
will be awarded in accordance with standard District policies.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 27, 1982.
