HomeMy Public PortalAbout04637 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4637 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Mississippi River Construction Fund, of which Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) is to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant of One Hundred Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($112,500.00) has been received from the Environmental Protection Agency, and Twenty-two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($22,500.00) has been reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for additional costs of Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant - Aeration Tanks and Service Building, Contract PA-62, in St. Louis County, Missouri, Federal Project C290640-02. WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five per- cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the additional costs of said project, and WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been re- served by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the additional costs of said project, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Mississippi River Construction Fund to pay ten percent (10%) of the additional costs for Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant - Aeration Tanks and Service Building, Contract PA-62. Section Two. The grant from the Environmental Pro- tection Agency of the United States amounts to One Hundred Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($112,500.00) which will be de- posited in the Mississippi River Construction Fund, and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the additional costs for Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant - Aeration Tanks and Service Building, Contract PA-62; said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Three. The reserved grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources amounts to Twenty-two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($22,500.00), which will be deposited in the Mississippi River Construction Fund, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the additional costs for Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant - Aeration Tanks and Service Building, Contract PA-62; said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted February 10, 1982.
