AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to Transit Casualty
Insurance Company (C. J. Thomas Company, agent) for the District's
Fiduciary Liability Insurance coverage from March 8, 1982 to March
8, 1985, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Transit Casualty Insurance Company,
who submitted the lowest bid to the District for the District's
Fiduciary Liability Insurance coverage, with a limit of
$1,000,000, and with a deductible amount of $1,000 per loss, of
those bids received and opened on February 11, 1982, at 11:00
A.M., at the District's office, at and for a prepaid premium of
Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) for such policy period, is hereby
awarded the contract for such liability coverage from March 8,
1982 to March 8, 1985.
Section Two. The insurance coverage as specified
herein is necessary for the protection of the public welfare, and
the contract for such coverage must be awarded without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 24, 1982.
