HomeMy Public PortalAbout04653 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4653 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute an Amendment to the Lease Agreement with Lange - Stegmann Fertilizer Company, a Missouri Corporation, for certain real property of the District known and numbered as #1 Angelica Street, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, said real property being used for the purpose of receiving, handling, bagging, storing and shipping out various grades of fertilizer and urea. WHEREAS, the current lease, as authorized by Ordinance No. 4131, adopted August 7, 1980, will expire on June 30, 1983, and WHEREAS, Lessee desires to make substantial improve- ments to said real property, provided Lessee's term is extended to permit amortization of such improvements, and WHEREAS, the use of said real property as herein speci- fied does not interfere with any District operation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed in behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute an Amendment to the Lease Agreement with Lange - Stegmann Fertilizer Company, a Missouri Corporation, for certain real property of the District known and numbered as #1 Angelica Street, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, said real property being used for the purpose of receiving, handling, bagging, storing and shipping out various grades of fertilizer and urea. Section Two. The lease term shall be extended for four (4) years, terminating June 30, 1987, at the monthly rental rate of Four Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($4,275.00). Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute an Amendment to the Lease Agreement giving effect to Sections One and Two of this Ordinance, and embodying such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Director of Legal Services of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 3, 1982.
