AN ORDINANCE, transferring and appropriating One
Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,600,000.00) from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund; Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($200,000.00) from the Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and
Improvement Account; One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00)
from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Construction Account; Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Meramec River Basin - M.S.D.
Southwest; and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Missouri River - Bonfils; to the Subdistrict Planning Fund, to
provide for the costs of necessary planning and services for the
District's improvement program.
WHEREAS, the 1981 amendments to the Clean Water Act
provide that funding for Step 1 planning grants and Step 2 design
grants must be advanced by the Grantee, and allowance will be made
for the Federal share and State share of the advanced funds when
the Grantee receives the Step 3 construction grant, and
WHEREAS, the funds herein transferred are to be used
for such Step 1 and Step 2 advancements pursuant to duly adopted
appropriation ordinances, and
WHEREAS, when any allowances are received in
conjunction with Step 3 construction grants for any Step 1 and
Step 2 advancements, such funds shall be repaid to the Subdistrict
Planning Fund, Missouri River - Bonfils to the Subdistrict
Planning Fund to provide for the costs of necessary planning and
services for the District's improvement program.
Section Six. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 24, 1982.
