AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($500,000.00) from the Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and
Improvement Fund for a Stage 1 Inflow Rehabilitation Program in
the Coldwater Creek Watershed, in accordance with plans developed
in current facility planning studies.
WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five per-
cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the
United States government to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the
cost of said work, and said moneys have been returned to the
Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the District will re-
ceive a fifteen percent (15%) grant from the Clean Water Commis-
sion of the State of Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the
cost of said work, upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said moneys will be returned to the Coldwater Creek Sewer
Extension and Improvement Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Coldwater Creek
Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund for a Stage 1 Inflow
Rehabilitation Program in the Coldwater Creek Watershed, in
accordance with plans developed in current facility planning
studies.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 7, 1982.
