AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Black & Veatch Consulting
Engineers for engineering services for design and construction
phases of structural rehabilitation of the Rocky Branch Sewer, in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with
Black & Veatch Consulting Engineers for engineering services for
design and construction phases of structural rehabilitation of the
Rocky Branch Sewer, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of
this Ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as
are approved by the Director of Legal Services of the District.
Section Three. The contract for engineering services
as hereinabove authorized is necessary for the protection of the
public health, and must take effect without delay, thus creating
an emergency within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this
ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 7, 1982.
