HomeMy Public PortalAbout04702 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4702 AN ORDINANCE, transferring Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) from the Mississippi River Operating Fund to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of North Affton; and appropriating Three Hundred Thirty-two Thousand Dollars ($332,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Con- struction Improvement Fund of North Affton to be used for the construction of storm sewers, together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection with such construction project in Affton Branch of River des Peres (Phase I) Harlan Avenue (S-1226, C-758), in St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to contribute Eighty-six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($86,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of North Affton, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) is hereby transferred from the Mississippi River Operating Fund to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of North Affton. Section Two. The sum of Three Hundred Thirty-two Thousand Dollars ($332,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of North Affton to be used for the construction of storm sewers, together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection with such construction project in Affton Branch of River des Peres (Phase I) Harlan Avenue (S-1226, C-758), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 28, 1982.
