HomeMy Public PortalAbout04725 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4725 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase from the owner thereof a certain parcel of real property in St. Louis, County, Missouri, for the construction of Lower Caulks Creek Pump Station B. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase from the owner thereof a certain parcel of real property in St. Louis County, Missouri, for the construction of Lower Caulks Creek Pump Station B, at a price not to exceed One Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($1,600.00), said real property to be free from all liens and encumbrances, and being more particularly described as follows: A tract of land situated in U.S. Survey 2031, Township 45 North, Range 4 East. Beginning at a point in the southern line of the St. Louis Southwestern Railroad Company's right-of-way, 100.00 feet wide, and being distant 266.30 feet from the eastern line of said U.S. Survey 2031, as measured along the southern line of said right-of-way; thence South 32o 06' West, a distance of 205.00 feet to a point; thence North 37o 05' West, a distance of 122.68 feet to a point in the southern line of said Railroad Company's right-of-way; thence along the southern line of said Railroad Company's right-of-way, along a curve to the left having a radius of 1,482.50 feet, a distance of 201.36 feet to a point of beginning, containing 11,413 square feet or 0.262 acres. Section Two. Upon execution and delivery to them by the owner of the above-described real property of a General Warranty Deed, in proper form, being free from liens and encum- brances, conveying title of said real property to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and Secretary-- Treasurer are authorized and directed to pay to said owner, for said real property, a total sum not to exceed One Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($1,600.00). The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 19, 1982.
