AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-eight Thousand Six
Hundred Dollars ($58,600.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used to purchase the materials for a gabion
project known as Vernon-Pennsylvania (Phase I), in the City of
University City, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project is a cooperative venture between
the District and the City of University City, Missouri, wherein
the District will supply the engineering and necessary materials,
and said City will supply the labor and equipment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-eight Thousand Six
Hundred Dollars ($58,600.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres to be used to purchase
the materials for a gabion project known as Vernon-Pennsylvania
(Phase I), in the City of University City, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 21, 1982.
