AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Forty-four
Thousand Dollars ($244,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund to be used for the construction of sanitary sewers,
together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and
Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection
with such construction project, in Subdistrict No. 501 (Pagedale
Laterals #2) C-907, in the City of Pagedale, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Seventy-two Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($72,600.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Pagedale, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute One Hundred Seventy-one Thousand Four Hundred Dollars
($171,400.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Mississippi River Operating Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Forty-four
Thousand Dollars ($244,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for the construction
of sanitary sewers, together with repayment of the cost of
Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs
incurred in connection with such construction project, in
Subdistrict No. 501 (Pagedale Laterals #2) C-907, in the City of
Pagedale, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 24, 1982.
