AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Hundred Thirteen
Thousand Dollars ($713,000.00) from the Subdistrict Planning Fund
for the cost of professional services required for the Lemay River
des Peres Watershed - Task Order No 2, Preliminary Design Services
for the Upper and Lower River des Peres Foulwater Interceptor,
M.S.D. Contract E-365 (Part of Federal Project No. C-291077,
Mississippi River Overflow Regulation System and Master Facilities
Plan).
WHEREAS, the District requires specialized consulting
assistance for said engineering services required for the Lemay -
River des Peres Watershed - Task Order No 2, Preliminary Design
Services for the Upper and Lower River des Peres Foulwater
Interceptor, M.S.D. Contract E-365 (Part of Federal Project No. C-
291077, Mississippi River Overflow Regulation System and Master
Facilities Plan) to provide continued eligibility of the overall
program for Federal funding, and
WHEREAS, an allowance will be made for the Federal
share and State share of the advanced funds when the District
receives the Step 3 Construction Grant, and
WHEREAS, when this allowance is made with the Step 3
Grant, said funds shall be repaid to the Subdistrict Planning
Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One The sum of Seven Hundred Thirteen Thousand
Dollars ($713,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Subdistrict
Planning Fund for the cost of professional services required for
the Lemay - River des Peres Watershed - Task Order No. 2,
Preliminary Design Services for the Upper and Lower River des
Peres Foulwater Interceptor, M.S.D. Contract E-365 (Part of
Federal Project No. C-291077, Mississippi River Overflow
Regulation System and Master Facilities Plan).
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 24, 1982.
