AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thirty-eight
Thousand Dollars ($138,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for the
construction of sanitary sewers, together with repayment of
miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection with such
construction project, in Subdistrict No. 229 (Leeton and West -
Phase I) C-925, in the Village of Riverview, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twenty-seven Thousand Dollars ($27,000.00) toward the total costs
of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Riverview, Missouri, pursuant
to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed
to contribute One Hundred Eleven Thousand Dollars ($111,000.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-eight
Thousand Dollars ($138,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek to be used for the construction of sanitary sewers, together
with repayment of miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection
with such construction project, in Subdistrict No. 229 (Leeton and
West - Phase I) C-925, in the Village of Riverview, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 16, 1983.
