HomeMy Public PortalAbout04968 O R D I N A N C E NO. 4968 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to convey certain real property belonging to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in St. Louis County, Missouri, to St. Louis County, Missouri, and to execute and deliver a General Warranty Deed for said real property. WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri requires said real property for the eastward extension of Hoffmeister Avenue, and WHEREAS, the conveyance of said real property will not interfere with District operations, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to convey certain real property belonging to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in St. Louis County, Missouri, to St. Louis County, Missouri, said real property being described as follows: A tract of land in St. Louis County, Missouri, being partly in U. S. Survey 904, Township 44 North, Range 7 East and partly in Carondelet Commons, also being in part of Allen's Subdivision in the Chouquette Tract as recorded in Book 3 Page 60 of the St. Louis County Records, and being more particularly de-scribed as follows: Commencing at the point of intersection of the Southeast line of Broadway with the Southwest line of property conveyed to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, a public corporation of the State of Missouri, by instrument recorded in Deed Book 6305, Page 1288 of the St. Louis County Records; thence North 53 degrees 51 minutes 45 seconds East along said Southeast line of Broadway, a distance of 73.11 feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing along said Southeast line North 53 degrees 51 minutes 45 seconds East, a distance of 131.78 feet to a point; thence South 07 degrees 59 minutes 58 seconds West, a distance of 56.77 feet to a point; thence South 37 degrees 51 minutes 48 seconds East, a distance of 37.25 feet to a point of curvature; thence Southeastwardly along an arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 605.00 feet and a chord bearing South 28 degrees 30 minutes 19 seconds East 196.76 feet, an arc distance of 197.63 feet to a point of tangency; thence South 19 degrees 08 minutes 48 seconds East, a distance of 171.15 feet to a point of curvature; thence Southeastwardly along an arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 550.00 feet and a chord bearing South 28 degrees 30 minutes 19 seconds East 178.87 feet, an arc distance of 179.67 feet to a point of tangency on a line 55.00 feet Northeast of and parallel to the aforesaid Southwest line of the Sewer District property, as aforesaid; thence South 37 degrees 51 minutes 48 seconds East along said parallel line, a distance of 1,252.13 feet to a point on the Southeast line of said Sewer District property; thence South 52 degrees 08 minutes 30 seconds West along said Southeast line of the Sewer District property, a distance of 55.00 feet to a point on the, Southwest line of the Sewer District property, as aforesaid; thence North 37 degrees 51 minutes 48 seconds West along said Southwest line, a distance of 1,351.83 feet to a point; thence North 19 degrees 08 minutes 48 seconds West, a distance of 256.09 feet to a point of a curvature; thence Northwestwardly along an arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 545.00 feet and a chord bearing North 28 degrees 30 minutes 19 seconds West 177.24 feet, an arc distance of 178.03 feet to a point of tangency, thence North 37 degrees 51 minutes 48 seconds West a distance or 64.42 feet to a point; thence North 82 degrees 00 minutes 08 seconds West, a distance of 44.48 feet to the point of beginning and containing 106,094 square feet, more or less. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a General Warranty Deed to St. Louis County, Missouri for the above-described real property, upon the receipt of Fifty-three Thousand Forty-seven Dollars ($53,047.00) from St. Louis County, Missouri for the purchase of said real property. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 16, 1983.
