AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty-nine
Thousand Eight Hundred Ten Dollars ($169,810.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - M.S.D. Southwest), of
which Sixteen Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Dollars ($16,980.00) is
to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant
of One Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Three Hundred Sixty Dollars
($127,360.00) has been received from the Environmental Protection
Agency, and Twenty-five Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Dollars
($25,470.00) has been reserved by the Missouri Department of
Natural Resources for costs for detailed inspection pursuant to
Engineering Contract E-295, Amendment No. 3 of construction of
Interim Wastewater Plant (Arnold Lagoon), Contract LM-01, in St.
Louis County, Missouri, Federal Project C290875-03.
WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five per-
cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the
United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the costs of
said project, and
WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been
reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay
fifteen percent (15%) of the costs of said project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixteen Thousand Nine Hundred
Eighty Dollars ($16,980.00) is hereby appropriated from the Opera-

tion, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict
No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - M.S.D. Southwest) to pay ten
percent (10%) of costs for detailed inspection pursuant to
Engineering Contract E-295, Amendment No. 3 of construction of
Interim Wastewater Plant (Arnold Lagoon), Contract LM-01, in St.
Louis County, Missouri, Federal Project C290875-03 .
Section Two . The grant from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States amounts to One Hundred
Twenty-seven Thousand Three Hundred Sixty Dollars ($127,360.00),
which will be deposited in the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec
River Basin - M.S.D. Southwest), and is to pay seventy-five
percent (75%) of costs for detailed inspection pursuant to
Engineering Contract E-295, Amendment No. 3 of construction of
Interim Wastewater Plant (Arnold Lagoon), Contract LM-01, in St.
Louis County, Missouri, Federal Project C290875, and said amount
is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due
and payable under the terms of the contract for said project;
Section Three. The reserved grant from the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources amounts to Twenty-five Thousand
Four Hundred Seventy Dollars ($25,470.00), which will be deposited
in the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - M.S.D. Southwest), and
is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of costs for detailed inspection
pursuant to Engineering Contract E-295, Amendment No. 3 of con-

struction of Interim Wastewater Plant (Arnold Lagoon), Contract
LM-01, in St. Louis County, Missouri, Federal Project C290875, and
said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said
payments when due and payable under the terms of the contract for
said project.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment .
