HomeMy Public PortalAboutCommunity Preservation Committee -- 2011-03-09 Minutes Date Approved: April 13, 2011 Vote; 7-0-0 Town of Brewster COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE Meeting Minutes March 9, 2011 Present: Paul Hush, Terry Ryder, Paul Ruchinskas, Roland Bassett Jr. and Elizabeth Taylor Missing: Jeanne Boehm, Roy Robinson and Elliott Carr 4:35 Call to Order 1. Minutes of January 26, 2011 MOTION: by Paul Ruchinskas to approve the minutes as amended, of January 26, 2011 Second: Elizabeth Taylor VOTE: 5-0-0 2. New Applications None 3. Review draft of CPC Annual Report Consider for next year; list of all projects since CPC started MOTION: by Roland Bassett Jr. to approve as submitted Second: Terry Ryder VOTE: 5-0-0 4. Review CPC article for May town meeting warrant Ruchinskas- confusing, needs summary. Souve-debt figure will be in the summary- Article 4 Hush- Have met with Board of Selectmen, meeting with the Fin Com tonight Taylor- summaries are done, sent to Charlie Hush- Elliot Carr will present CPC articles, including the Meetinghouse project, to Town Meeting 5. Latham and other housing projects Ruchinskas-Housing Partnership is looking at 4 small town owned parcels. Jillian has a draft to review for RFP. Need title insurance. Coming back for funding request. Tay/or-Maybe we should increase this Ruchinskas-Not a critical need immediately Hush- do not load, too much for Town Meeting understanding. Ruchinskas Housing Authority-Latham- pre development money application is working toward 40B application through ZBA. Brewster Woods hasn't advanced over the last 6 month. Hush-Historic Preservation restriction discussion; Elliott will follow this with Brewster Meeting House. 6. Review monthly scheduling of CPC meetings Hush-Suggest we meet the 2nd Wednesday for each month unless another meeting is needed. Taylor- fine Ryder- fine monthly Bassett- fine Ruchinskas- good MOTION: by Taylor to set regularly scheduled meeting second Wednesday of each month.
