O R D I N A N C E NO. 5039
AN ORDINANCE, amending Ordinance No. 203, as adopted
June 25, 1958, by repealing Section One and enacting a new Section
One in lieu thereof, pertaining to the creation of the Emergency
Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Section One of Ordinance No. 203, as
adopted June 25, 1958, is hereby repealed.
Section Two. Section One of Ordinance No. 203 shall
read as follows:
"Section One. An administrative special fund to be known as
the "Emergency Fund" is hereby created. Said Emergency Fund
shall have as its purpose to provide monetary resources for
emergencies occurring in the operation and maintenance of the
District in excess of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($500,000.00) that are of such nature as not to be measurable
in the budgeting and appropriation of annual revenues.
Periodic review shall be made by the Board of Trustees to
insure the adequacy of said Emergency Fund."
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 13, 1983.
