AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eleven Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($11,700.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the Shrewsbury Branch of River
des Peres to be used for the construction of storm sewers,
together with repayment of miscellaneous other costs incurred in
connection with such construction project, in Glennon Avenue (S-
2028. C-947). in the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
one-third (1/3) of the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improve-
ment Fund of the Shrewsbury Branch of River des Peres,
WHEREAS, the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, has agreed
to contribute one-third (1/3) of the total costs of said project;
upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will
be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Im-
provement Fund of the Shrewsbury Branch of River des peres;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred
Dollars ($11,700.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the Shrewsbury
Branch of River des Peres to be used for the construction of storm
sewers, together with repayment of miscellaneous other
costs incurred in connection with such construction project, in
Glennon Avenue (S-2028, C-947), in the City of Shrewsbury,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 27, 1983.
