AN ORDINANCE awarding a contract to Home Indemnity
Company (Lawton, Byrne, Bruner Insurance Agency Company, Agent)
for the District's automobile fleet insurance coverage from May 1,
1983 to April 30, 1984, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Home Indemnity Company, who submitted
the lowest bid to the District for the District's automobile fleet
insurance, at and for a premium of Thirty-four Thousand Sixty-one
Dollars ($34,061.00) for such policy period, is hereby awarded the
contract for such automobile fleet insurance coverage from May 1,
1983 to April 30, 1984.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the award of a
contract for the District's automobile fleet insurance and thus
being necessary for the protection of the public welfare, con-
stitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 27, 1983.
