AN ORDINANCE awarding a contract to Reliance Insurance
Company (Lawton, Byrne, Bruner Insurance Agency Company, Agent)
for the District's equipment insurance coverage from May 1, 1983
to April 30, 1984, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Reliance Insurance Company, who sub-
mitted the lowest bid to the District for the District's equipment
insurance coverage, with a One Thousand Dollar ($1,000.00)
Deductible, at and for a three year pre-paid premium of Seven
Thousand Two Hundred Seventeen Dollars ($7,217.00) for such policy
period, is hereby awarded the contract for such equipment
insurance coverage from May 1, 1983 to April 30, 1984.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the award of a
contract for the District's equipment insurance and thus being
necessary for the protection of the public welfare, constitutes an
emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall
be and become effective immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 27, 1983.
