HomeMy Public PortalAbout05056 O R D I N A N C E NO. 5056 AN ORDINANCE awarding a contract with the General Reinsurance Corporation (The Daniel and Henry Company, Agent) for the District's Excess Workers' Compensation Insurance coverage from May 1, 1983 to April 30, 1984, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The General Reinsurance Corporation, who submitted the lowest bid for the District's Excess Workers' Compensation Insurance, with an annual aggregate coverage of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00), and with a self-insured retention of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) each occurrence, for one year, at and for the rate of $0.110 per $100 remuneration, and for a deposit premium of Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($7,750.00), is hereby awarded the contract for such insurance coverage from May 1, 1983 to April 30, 1984. Section Two. This Ordinance being for the award of a contract for the District's Excess Workers' Compensation Insurance, and thus being necessary for the protection of the public welfare, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 27, 1983.
