AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million Nine Hundred
Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-seven Dollars ($3,910,877.00)
from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account of which Three Hundred
Ninety-one Thousand Eighty-nine Dollars ($391,089.00) is to be
used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant of Two
Million Nine Hundred Thirty-three Thousand One Hundred Fifty-eight
Dollars ($2,933,158.00) has been received from the Environmental
Protection Agency, and Five Hundred Eighty-six Thousand Six
Hundred Thirty Dollars ($586,630.00) has been reserved by the
Missouri Department of Natural Resources for Contracts C-819
(Erection of 1.0 MGD Treatment Plant), C-820 (Construction of two
pumping stations), C-821 (Construction of Force Main), C-822 and
C-823 (Sanitary Interceptors Line A-4 and Line B), Federal Project
C-291148-04.
WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five per-
cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the
United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of
said project, and
WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been
reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay
fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:

Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Ninety-One
Thousand Eighty-nine Dollars ($391,089.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account to pay ten percent (10%)
of the cost for Contracts C-819 (Erection of 1.0 MGD Treatment
Plant), C-820 (Construction of two pumping stations), C-821
(Construction of Force Main), C-822 and C-823 (Sanitary
Interceptors Line A-4 and Line B), Federal Project C-291148-04.
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental Pro-
tection Agency of the United States amounts to Two Million Nine
Hundred Thirty-three Thousand One Hundred Fifty-eight Dollars
($2,933,158.00), which will be deposited in the General Fund of
the District, and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost
for Contracts C-819 (Erection of 1.0 MGD Treatment Plant), C-820
(Construction of two pumping stations), C-821 (Construction of
Force Main), C-822 and C-823 (Sanitary Interceptors Line A-4 and
Line B), Federal Project C-291148-04; and said amount is hereby
appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable
under the terms of the contracts for said project.
Section Three. The reserved grant from the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources amounts to Five Hundred Eighty-six
Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Dollars ($586,630.00), which will be
deposited in the General Fund of the District, and is to pay
fifteen percent (15%) of the cost for Contracts C-819 (Erection of
1.0 MGD Treatment Plant), C-820 (Construction of two pumping
stations), C-821 (Construction of Force Main), C-822 and C-823

(Sanitary Interceptors Line A-4 and Line B), Federal Project
C-291148-04; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to
make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the
contracts for said project.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 25, 1983.
