AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with St. Louis County, Missouri,
pursuant to Title IV of the Comprehensive Employment and Training
Act of 1973 of the United States of America, Department of Labor,
for the receipt of federal funds as administered by St. Louis
County, Missouri, for the period of June 13, 1983 through August
5, 1983.
WHEREAS, Title IV of the Comprehensive Employment and
Training Act of 1973 will provide St. Louis County, Missouri, with
federal funds for the Summer Youth Employment Program, and
WHEREAS, said Act requires contracts between the
District and St. Louis County, Missouri, for the undertaking of
said program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to contract with St. Louis County,
Missouri, pursuant to Title IV of the Comprehensive Employment and
Training Act of 1973 of the United States of America, Department
of Labor, for the receipt of federal funds to be used in
conjunction with the Summer Youth Employment Program as admin-
istered by St. Louis County, Missouri, for the period of June 13,
1983 through August 5, 1983.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One
of this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions
as are approved by the Director of Legal Services of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 8, 1983.
