AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
One Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($125,000.00) from the
Subdistrict Planning Fund of the District, of which Twelve Thou-
sand Five Hundred Dollars ($12,500.00) is to be used to pay the
District's share, Ninety-three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($93,750.00) will be received from the Environmental
Protection Agency, and Eighteen Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($18,750.00) will be received from the Clean Water
Commission for the cost of amended infiltration - inflow studies
and sewer system evaluation surveys in the Lower Meramec River
Basin, Valley Park Sewer System, (Federal Project C-290875-01,
Amendment No. 6).
WHEREAS, the District will receive a seventy-five per-
cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the
United States government to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the
eligible costs of said work, and
WHEREAS, the District will receive a fifteen percent
(15%) grant from the Clean Water Commission of the State of
Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the eligible costs of
said work,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twelve Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($12,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Subdistrict Planning Fund of the District to pay ten percent (10%)
of the eligible costs of amended infiltration - inflow studies and
sewer system evaluation surveys in the Lower Meramec River Basin,
Valley Park Sewer System.
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States government will amount to
Ninety-three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($93,750.00)
which, when received, will be deposited in the Subdistrict
Planning Fund of the District, and is to pay seventy-five percent
(75%) of the eligible costs of amended infiltration - inflow
studies and sewer system evaluation surveys in the Lower Meramec
River Basin, Valley Park Sewer System, and said amount is hereby
appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable
under the terms of the contracts for said work.
Section Three. The grant from the Clean Water
Commission of the State of Missouri will amount to Eighteen
Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($18,750.00) which, when
received, will be deposited in the Subdistrict Planning Fund of
the District, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the eligible
costs of amended infiltration - inflow studies and sewer system
evaluation surveys in the Lower Meramec River Basin, Valley Park
Sewer System, and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to
make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the
contracts for said work.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
