AN ORDINANCE, transferring Four Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($400,000.00) from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account as
a loan to the Fee Fee Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund, and
appropriating Seven Hundred Thirty-two Thousand Dollars
($732,000.00) from the Fee Fee Sewer Extension and Improvement
Fund for the cost of professional services required prior to and
during the construction of the Creve Coeur Creek pump station,
force main, and interceptor trunk sewer, M.S.D. Contract E-396
Part of Federal Project No. C-291148, Lower Missouri River
Basin).
WHEREAS, the District requires specialized consulting
assistance for said engineering services prior to and during the
construction of the Creve Coeur Creek pump station, force main,
and interceptor trunk sewers, M.S.D. Contract E-396 (Part of
Federal Project No. C-291148, Lower Missouri River Basin) to
provide continuance of the overall program for Federal funding,
and
WHEREAS, an allowance will be made for the Federal
share and State share of the advanced funds when the District
receives the Step 3 Construction Grant, and
WHEREAS, when this allowance is made with the Step 3
Grant, said funds shall be repaid to the Fee Fee Connection Fees
Account;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars
($400,000.00) is hereby transferred as a loan from the Fee Fee
Connection Fees Account to the Fee Fee Sewer Extension and
Improvement Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Seven Hundred Thirty-two
Thousand Dollars ($732,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Fee
Fee Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund for the cost of
professional services required prior to and during the
construction of the Creve Coeur Creek pump station force main, and
interceptor trunk sewer, M.S.D. Contract E-396 (Part of Federal
Project No. C-291148, Lower Missouri River Basin).
Section Three. The officers of the District are hereby
directed to repay to the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account the
amount as hereinabove loaned as funds become available from
Federal and State grants for said project.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 13, 1983.
