A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE STAFF TO MAKE CHANGES TO THE CITY'S CREDIT CARD
ACCOUNTS AND TO AUTHORIZE NEW SIGNERS TO THOSE ACCOUNTS
WHEREAS, The City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a Municipal Corporation, organized and
operating under the laws of the State of Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, the City has used VISA credit cards issued by TCM Bank, N.A., since at least
January of 2018 and that those authorized to make changes to the account - including
the disputation of charges incurred - have since left employment with the City resulting
in the inability to make changes or dispute charges made on the account by current
City Staff, and;
WHEREAS, the Council desires greater flexibility for City Staff to proactively manage the
City's finances and responsibly address questionable charges made to its credit cards,
and;
WHEREAS, TCM Bank, N.A. requires official action by the Council to authorize City Staff
to address these issues (and others) with the institution and make the requisite changes
to the City's credit card accounts.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
Section 1. That the City Council of Riverdale, Iowa and the duly -elected Mayor,
Michael Bowden, certify that by approving and adopting this resolution, the following is
true and a correct copy as they appear in the official, recorded minutes of The City of
Riverdale, Iowa;
Section 2. that this corporation apply for and obtain VISA accounts;
Section 3. that each account obtained be issued one VISA card embossed with the
name of a designated corporate officer or employee that sales drafts, and other
instruments for charges, be signed by the designated officer or employee shall be valid
and binding upon this corporation;
Section 4. that any of the following officers of this corporation are empowered to
authorize the TCM Bank, N.A. to issue VISA cards to other designated officers and
employees:
Kent Royster City Admininstrator
Katie Enloe Deputy City Clerk
George Miller Maintenance
Floyd Bruns Fire Chief

Accounts and to Authorize New Signers to Those Accounts
Section 5. that a certified copy of forgoing resolutions made by this corporation
under its corporate seal be sent to the TCM Bank, N.A., and that TCM Bank, N.A. may
rely thereon until advised to the contrary in writing.
