HomeMy Public PortalAbout05208 O R D I N A N C E NO. 5208 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 4250, as adopted December 17, 1980, and amended by Ordinance No. 4301, as adopted March 11, 1981, Ordinance No. 4528, as adopted October 1, 1981, Ordinance No. 4549, as adopted November 4, 1981, Ordinance No. 4716, as adopted May 5, 1982, Ordinance No. 4798, as adopted August 11, 1982, and Ordinance No. 4855, as adopted September 22, 1982, and enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof, establishing those positions that comprise the Unclassified Service of the District, and prescribing the compensation for said positions. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 4250, as adopted December 17, 1980, and amended by Ordinance No. 4301, as adopted March 11, 1981, Ordinance No. 4528, as adopted October 1, 1981, Ordinance No. 4549, as adopted November 4, 1981, Ordinance No. 4716, as adopted May 5, 1982, Ordinance No. 4798, as adopted August 11, 1982, and Ordinance No. 4855, as adopted September 22, is hereby repealed. Section Two. The Unclassified Service of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District shall be comprised of the following positions: Executive Director, Assistant Executive Director and General Counsel, Director of Administration, Director of Operations, Secretary-Treasurer, Director of Finance, Director of Legal Services, Director of Personnel, Director of Wastewater, Director of Maintenance, Director of Engineering, Director of 2 Human Resources, Manager of Public Relations, and Secretary to the Executive Director. Section Three. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Executive Director shall be at the rate of $71,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Four. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Assistant Executive Director and General Counsel shall be at the rate of $69,300.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Five. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Director of Administration.shall be at the rate of $49,500.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Six. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Director of Operations shall be at the rate of $49,500.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Seven. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Secretary-Treasurer shall be at the rate of $43,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Eight. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Director of Finance shall be at the rate of $ 44,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Nine. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Director of Legal Services shall be at the rate of $39,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Ten. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of 3 the Director of Personnel shall be at the rate of $35,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Eleven. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Director of Wastewater shall be at the rate of $47,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Twelve. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Director of Maintenance shall be at the rate of $46,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Thirteen. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Director of Engineering shall be at the rate of $44,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Fourteen. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Director of Human Resources shall be at the rate of $35,500.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Fifteen. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Manager of Public Relations shall be at the rate of $29,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Sixteen. Effective August 1, 1983, the salary of the Secretary to the Executive Director shall be at the rate of $24,500.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. 4 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 24, 1983.
