HomeMy Public PortalAbout05228 O R D I N A N C E NO. 5228 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Seven Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-two Dollars ($407,272.00) from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account of which Forty Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars ($40,728.00) is to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant of Three Hundred Five Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-four Dollars ($305,454.00) has been received from the Environmental Protection Agency, and Sixty-one Thousand Ninety Dollars ($61,090.00) has been reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for Contract C-825 Construction of Caulks Creek Phase II Sanitary Interceptor Sewers, Lines E and K, Federal Project C-291148-04. WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five per- cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of said project, and WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said project, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Forty Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars ($40,728.00) is hereby appropriated from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account to pay ten percent (10%) of the cost for Contract C-825, Construction of Caulks Creek Phase II Sanitary Interceptor Sewers, Lines E and K, Federal Project C- 291148-04. Section Two. The grant from the Environmental Pro- tection Agency of the United States amounts to Three Hundred Five Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-four Dollars ($305,454.00), which will be deposited in the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost for Contract C-825, Construction of Caulks Creek Phase II Sanitary Interceptor Sewers, Lines E and K, Federal Project C-291148-04; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Three. The reserved grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources amounts to Sixty-one Thousand Ninety Dollars ($81,090.00), which will be deposited in the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost for Contract C-825, Construction of Caulks Creek Phase II Sanitary Interceptor Sewers, Lines E and K, Federal project C- 291148-04; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 1983. -2-
