AN ORDINANCE, awarding contracts to the Transamerica
Insurance Company (Home Agency Inc., Agent) for the District's
Employee Faithful Performance Blanket Bond for the period of
October 1, 1983 to October 1, 1986, and for the Faithful
Performance Bond for the Secretary-Treasurer for the period of
October 1, 1983 to October 1, 1986, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Transamerica Insurance Company, who
submitted the lowest responsive bids for the District's Employee
Faithful Performance Blanket Bond at and for a three year prepaid
premium of One Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars ($1,905.00).
and for the Faithful Performance Bond for the Secretary-Treasurer
at and for a three year prepaid premium of Five Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($550.00), which bids were received and opened on
September 8, 1983 at 11:00 A.M., at the District's office for such
three year policy period of October 1, 1983 to October 1, 1986, is
hereby awarded the contracts for such Fidelity Performance Bonds.
Section Two. This ordinance is for the award of
contracts for Faithful Performance Bonds for the District's
employees in general, and for the Secretary-Treasurer, and is
necessary for the protection of the public welfare, thus
constituting an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Therefore, this ordinance shall be and become effective upon it is
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 21, 1983.
