RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A SUBROGATION AGREEMENT AND PROOF
OF LOSS STATEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") has filed an insurance
claim in connection with water damage to the Borough Hall; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain payment of the Borough's claim it is necessary
to file a proof of loss statement; and
WHEREAS, the insurance carrier wishes to formalize it's right to subrogate in
connection with the claim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Carteret that Mayor and Borough Clerk be and are
hereby authorized to execute a proof of loss statement and subrogation receipt
on behalf of the Borough in connection with the Borough's claim to General
Security Insurance Company or water damage sustained to the Borough Hall in
the amount of $6,450.

and Certified as a true copy of the
original on February 18, 2000.
