AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J. S. Alberici
Construction Company, Inc. for emergency repairs and replacement
of the Bissell Point Pump Station Bar Racks (S-2291, C-1058), in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract
with J. S. Alberici Construction Company, Inc. for emergency
repairs and replacement of the Bissell Point Pump Station Bar
Racks (S-2291, C-1058), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as
are approved by the Director of Legal Services of the District.
Section Three. The repairs and replacement as specified
in said contract are necessary for the preservation of public
health, and must be performed without delay. Accordingly, an
emergency exists within the meaning of the Plan, and this ordin-
ance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 23, 1983.
