AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Eighty-seven
Thousand Dollars ($387,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for the
construction of storm sewers, together with repayment of the cost
of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other
costs incurred in connection with such construction project, in
East Argonne Storm Sewer (S-278, C-1052), in the Cities of
Kirkwood and Oakland, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
One Hundred Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars ($129,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Eighty-six Thousand Dollars ($86,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Oakland, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Forty-three Thousand Dollars ($43,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
Ord. No. 5387
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Eighty-seven
Thousand Dollars ($387,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers,
together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and
Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection
with such construction project, in East Argonne Storm Sewer (S-
278, C-1052), in the Cities of Kirkwood and Oakland, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
