HomeMy Public PortalAbout05450 O R D I N A N C E NO. 5450 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Fifty-one Thousand Dollars ($551,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for the construction of storm sewers, together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection with such construction project, in Trenton Creek Storm Sewer-Phase One (S-1894, C-1043), in the City of Overland, Missouri. WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres, and WHEREAS, the City of Overland, Missouri pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 has agreed to contribute Three Hundred Eighty-six Thousand Dollars ($386,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Ord. No. 5450 Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty-one Thousand Dollars ($551,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for the construction of storm sewers, together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other cost incurred in connection with such construction project, in Trenton Creek Storm Sewer-Phase One (S-1894, C-1043), in the City of Overland, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 11, 1984. -2-
