AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Million Four Hundred
Four Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-five Dollars ($5,404,845.00)
from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account of which Five Hundred
Forty Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-five Dollars ($540,495.00) is
to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant
of Four Million Fifty-three Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Dollars
($4,053,630.00) has been received from the Environmental
Protection Agency, and Eight Hundred Ten Thousand Seven Hundred
Twenty Dollars ($810,720.00) has been reserved by the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources for Contracts C-972 (Construction
of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 (Construction of Creve
Coeur Creek Pump Station), and C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur
Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), Federal Project C-291148-
06.
WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five per-
cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the
United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of
said project, and
WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been
reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay
fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Forty Thousand
Four Hundred Ninety-five Dollars ($540,495.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account to pay ten
percent (10%) of the cost for Contracts C-972 (Construction of
Creve Coeur Creek Force Main). C-973 (Construction of Creve Coeur
Creek Pump Station). and C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek
Force Main Discharge Structure), Federal Project C-291148-06.
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental Pro-
tection Agency of the United States amounts to Four Million Fifty-
three Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Dollars ($4,053,630.00), which
will be deposited in the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and is
to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost for Contracts C-972
(Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973
(Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), and C-991
(Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge
Structure). Federal Project C-291148-06; and said amount is
hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and
payable under the terms of the contracts for said project.
Section Three. The reserved grant from the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources amounts to Eight Hundred Ten
Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty Dollars ($810,720.00), which will be
deposited in the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and is to pay
fifteen percent (15%) of the cost for Contracts C-972
(Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973
(Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), and C-991
(Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge
Structure), Federal Project C-291148-06; and said amount is hereby
appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and
payable under the terms of the contracts for said project.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
