AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Seventy-eight Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-five Dollars
($78,325.00) from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account of which
Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-four Dollars ($7,834.00) is to
be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant of
Fifty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-three Dollars
($58,743.00) has been received from the Environmental Protection
Agency, and Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-eight Dollars
($11,748.00) has been reserved by the Missouri Department of
Natural Resources for additional costs for Contract C-821
(Construction of Caulks Creek Force Main), Federal Project C-
291148-04.
WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five per-
cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the
United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of
said project, and
WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been
reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay
fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seven Thousand Eight Hundred
Thirty-four Dollars ($7,834.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Fee Fee Connection Fees Account to pay ten percent (10%) of the
additional costs for Contract C-821 (Construction of Caulks Creek
Force Main), Federal Project C-291148-04.
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental Pro-
tection Agency of the United States amounts to Fifty-eighty
Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-three Dollars ($58,743.00), which
will be deposited in the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and is
to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the additional costs for
Contract C-821 (Construction of Caulks Creek Force Main), Federal
Project C-291148-04; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be
used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of
the contracts for said project.
Section Three. The reserved grant from the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources amounts to Eight Thousand Seven
Hundred Forty-eight Dollars ($11,748.00), which will be deposited
in the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and is to pay fifteen
percent (15%) of the additional costs for Contract C-821
(Construction of Caulks Creek Force Main), Federal Project C-
291148-04: and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to
make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the
contracts for said project.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 8, 1984.
