AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
One Hundred Forty-two Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Dollars
($142,680.00) from the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account of which
Fourteen Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-eight Dollars ($14,268.00) is
to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant
of One Hundred Seven.Thousand Ten Dollars ($107,010.00) has been
received from the Environmental Protection Agency, and Twenty-one
Thousand Four Hundred Two Dollars ($21,402.00) has been reserved
by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for additional
costs for Contract E-333 (Professional Consulting Services for the
construction of Caulks Creek Interceptor Sewers and Force Main),
Federal Project C-291148-04.
WHEREAS, the District has received a seventy-five per-
cent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the
United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of
said project, and
WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant has been
reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay
fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fourteen Thousand Two Hundred
Sixty-eight Dollars ($14,268.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Fee Fee Connection Fees Account to pay ten percent (10%) of the
additional costs for Contract E-333 (Professional Consulting
Services for the construction of Caulks Creek Interceptor Sewers
and Force Main), Federal Project C-291148-04.
Section Two. The grant from the Environmental Pro-
tection Agency of the United States amounts to One Hundred Seven
Thousand Ten Dollars ($107,010.00), which will be deposited in the
Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and is to pay seventy-five
percent (75%) of the additional costs for Contract E-333
(Professional Consulting Services for the construction of Caulks
Creek Interceptor Sewers and Force Main), Federal Project C-
291148-04; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to
make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the
contracts for said project.
Section Three. The reserved grant from the Missouri
Department of Natural Resources amounts to Twenty-one Thousand
Four Hundred Two Dollars ($21,402.00), which will be deposited in
the Fee Fee Connection Fees Account, and is to pay fifteen percent
(15%) of the additional costs for Contract E-333 (Professional
Consulting Services for the construction of Caulks Creek
Interceptor Sewers and Force Main), Federal Project C-291148-04;
and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said
payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for
said project.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
