RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1996 by Resolution #96-116, the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret approved a contract to Abbott Contracting Company in the
amount of $573,447.66; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has informed the Governing Body that a
modification of the contract is reasonable and necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has further certified that said modifications were
unforeseen at the time the original contract was awarded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of $4,500.00 is hereby
-- added to the original contract and payment of the modified amount is hereby
approved.
Adopted this 17th day of October, 1996
and certified as a true copy of the original
on October 18, 1996.
