AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-three Thousand
Dollars ($23,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for the construction of a Gabion Wall,
together with repayment of the cost of Engineering, Survey and
Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in connection
with such construction project, in Appleton Drive (S-1848, C-
1076), in the City of University City, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the City of University City, Missouri has
agreed to contribute Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00) toward the
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operations, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-three Thousand Dollars
($23,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Mainte-
nance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City
Branch of River des Peres to be used for the construction of a
Gabion Wall, together with repayment of the cost of Engineering,
Survey and Inspection, and miscellaneous other costs incurred in
connection with such construction project, in Appleton Drive (S-
1848, C-1076), in the City of University City, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 1984.
